Good point you don't just roll out of bed and rush for two grand.

Johnson plays for the best run blocking OL in the league, Barry Sanders played behind some of the worst OL's in NFL history.
I see Lung's point, but I feel Johnson is still a top 3 RB because of that breakaway ability. Its not just runs either, swing passes, etc... he can take to the house. He will never get the tough yards (Javon Ringer will), but he still racks up serious yardage and YPG. But I disagree with ya Lung because of his ability. I dont think its fair to punish a guy because he breaks big runs. That's his style. He will get 2-3 yards a time, and the one time the defense makes a mistake, he takes it to the house. He averaged 125 yards a game last year.
I have a hard time not putting a guy with 5.6 yards a carry last year towards the top.
But I also believe that MJD might be the 2nd best (Adrian Peterson is the best, and I dont see its close, in terms of pure rushing ability and talent, he is the best. And no way do I take CJ over AP in the playoffs. CJ might not fumble, but he cant get the tough short yards when it counts like AP can.). Im a big MJD fan. If he had a better offense and a better OL, he is the guy everybody talks about, not CJ. Cause MJD catches better, runs better between the tackles, is harder to bring down, etc.. CJ is faster, but if I am building a team, I take MJD before CJ.
Also, Steven Jackson is the most underrated player in the NFL. The man is an absolute monster, with speed to boot!

MJD is always pretty good when the season starts but always seems to get banged up. Peterson goes through spells thinking he is point guard and putting ball on the floor it all comes down to who you like I guess.

exactly, durability means **** tons in the NFL. I love MJD, i love the way he runs, i think he is top 3 all day every day.......... until he gets banged up.
Cant we all just get along?
Has Thomas Jones ever been hurt, if he has I don't remember it, and how many yards has he ran for he is probably getting up there now in career yards, He is still the best high school player I ever seen play.
If TJ has 3 more years like this he will move into the top 20 all time leading rushers in the NFL
